Wine as an Ice Breaker
February 19th, 2012Wine is such a ice breaker when you are in a romantic setting, which is why wine gifts are becoming more popular before first dates! I wouldn’t encourage too much of it, but you would be surprised how it can calm a hostile family dinner or help you open up on a first date. Especially, if you get the right wine that goes down smooth with a little kick to it. Most people like to smell their wine to make sure that they have a quality grade. I make sure that the wine that I buy is not so much about the price, but more so the quality. Aged wine is also very good when you are trying to share the quality of a fine wine. Zinfadel is a good wine, but for social gatherings I would try a even finer quality of taste. Wine can be a great experince in a social setting when you are entertaining or have guests over. If you don’t have a lot of experience with wine you should always seek the advice of someone that does. You can also get advice on quality wine from the consumer that you are purchasing it from.
